Man, oh, man. I have had these drums for 30+ years. I bought them at 17 years old. My Dad obtained a loan for them so that I could learn how to pay a loan off. He was teaching me responsibility. And I got my drums.
I mean, I was destined to be a rock star…

Fast forward many years and a few tries and bands later, I had to put my drums away because it’s not a bachelor pad anymore. I kept them for so long after thinking we might get a big house where I could set them up and be able to play. But now, as much as I love the drums, I don’t feel like I will be able to play like I want whenever we do get that house. So, I decided to sell them a couple of years ago to fund my gaming PC. They didn’t sell. Had one real shot and the buyer flaked on me. I don’t need to sell them for that purpose now, but I feel like I could sell them to somebody who will use them.
Here are some pictures of my drums with and without me.

It is very bitter-sweet. But I am happy to know that they are going to somebody who is excited to play them. They also look very good for drums that have been in an attic for 12 years. A little elbow grease and some cleaning and they will look great. And they sound pretty darn good, too.
