Installing a Contact Frame

I failed to do any pre-installation testing, but I know my CPU under load would get over 90 degrees Celsius…. I still need to do full on post-installation testing. Still a fun project.

My PC as it was.
Thermal Grizzyu Contact frame kit.
The parts.
The frame is inside…
The frame and the foam insert (only needed if using Liquid Metal).

My CPU and the stock contact frame.

My CPU with the stock frame removed.
I installed the frame but now it has to be ,…
screwed down and thermal paste applied (not shown ).
My CPU now . Got the water block re-installed.

Fun little project. I enjoyed it. Took less than 30 minutes to do. It should result in 5 degrees or so. the cooler it runs, the faster it will run.
