The Alabama Organized Labor Awards Foundation Banquet

August 25, 2001

This was a special night for us. Robert Molenda, my father, was inducted into the Alabama Chapter of the ALF-CIO Labor Hall of Fame. This is a prestigious honor. This year was the 12th Annual Awards Banquet. It was held at the Bessemer Civic Center in Bessemer, AL.

There were many special guests there including past inductees. We were also joined by the governor of Alabama, Don Seigleman.

Here is the table to the left of the podium. Seated at this table include:
Tom Finch(UAW Local 1413), Betty Molenda(my mother), and Governor Seigleman.
