Spring Break in Metro Atlanta
I can tell it by the traffic… I left 20 minutes early for work yesterday because I knew I had to stop for gas and for breakfast (Chic-Fil-A rules for breakfast!) and was 20 minutes early… huh? Today I left like 5 minutes late and was a tad early… If only everyday were like this, I would never be … you know, past time I am supposed to be at work.
House Update: Had 1 more agent to show my house yesterday. That is all.

I ran across this poem…
…that I wrote in 1999… yet, it seems to practically fit what I am feeling now.
“How Can”
How can you look
At the one you love and smile,
When you know
They are in love with another.
How can you stop
Loving that special one,
Even though you know
They aren’t in love with you.
How can you have
Faith that there is someone for you,
When that one you long for
Longs for someone else?
How can it be
That love can be so cruel,
When it knows
How bad it can hurt you.
How can you hold
Down your emotions,
When you know
You want to lay down and cry.
How can you move on
And begin to smile at them again,
When you know how much
Deep down inside you are hurting.

Oh How I Changed My Mind
I never used to believe that I had a “one.” But then, I met somebody… well, I changed my mind. Maybe, just maybe, there is a “one” for me. Things have changed, yet again, and maybe I just wanted to believe that there is a “one” for me. Apparently, she must not be her. So, again, I am back to square…”one?” Life goes on, so they say.
I guess life is full of changes. This is already a year of change for me. Between the selling of my house, moving back to my hometown, and changing jobs. What else will change?
Updates:
On the real estate front, there is nothing new to tell.
On the job search front, there is nothing new to tell.

Job Search Update
1.) My resume, I can only assume, is still under review at Teledyne Brown. I have received no further communications from them and I haven’t called them. Perhaps, I should.
2.) My resume is under review at DirecTV. My friend there is making sure of that. That’s all I can ask for from him. The rest would be up to me, if they decide to interview me.
3.) I got an email from a company called FINAO Corp. They do CPR (Computerize Medical Records). (http://www.finaocorp.com). They got my resume from my college, Athens State University (http://www.athens.edu). I have been in contact with them and it may possibly lead to an interview. It is for an entry-level programmer position. I am not the greatest programmer in the universe, but I can learn to be. I just hope they decide to at least interview me. My knowledge of the medical industry, I believe, gives me an advantage.
That is all now. I will be submitting more resumes as I can. I pray that by the time I make the move to Huntsville, that I have a job. Not that I like working, but money seems to be … important.
