Well, I am back from another weekend in Alabama.
Saturday
I got my hair cut, finally. It’s really short again… in about 2 weeks, it’ll be where I like it. In about 4 weeks, it’ll start getting a little long (on top) and in 6 weeks, I’ll get it cut, again.
My Mom and I went to Sam’s Club and looked at some large tv’s for her. She needs one that she can see. Eye sight is not so good now… but she will need to do some re-arranging before a large tv can be incorporated into her living room… so, time to wait…
Saturday Night
The whole family (minus my oldest niece who had to work) was at my middle brother’s house for a cookout… the steak was awesome… it was huge… I was kinda of bloated when we left…
Then I met my friend, Richard, out for a beer at Third Base Grill on 72E. We closed the place down. The girl who works there is pretty damn hot… That I can appreciate. She is also working 2 jobs and going to school full-time. Says she has very little time for herself…. I can relate since I did the same thing years ago.
Then we went to a place called “Chasers” off of Winchester Road… Had some Yuengling’s… I love that beer, but it can’t be found in Georgia… how stupid. I enjoyed my Saturday night. My friend, Robert, had a dinner-date, so I didn’t get to hang with him. Maybe next time.
Sunday
Lazy day. My brother came over and we had Bible study this morning. Then, I spent alot of time watching the Scooby-Doo marathon on the Cartoon Network and the Pocono NASCAR race today. And then, it was time to come back here to Georgia… The trip was pretty good. For once, nobody really held me back by driving too slow…
So, here I am back and ready for my work week (well, actually I am never ready for a work week!). It is my last in our current location. After I get back from vacation, I will be presented with the longer commute to the new office location in Tucker… I am not looking forward to spending an extra hour a day in my car… seems like a waste of time to me.
I didn’t spend much time online and it was kind of refreshing… I should try that more often! 🙂
