The Long Road

It started with a simple mail from a stranger. And then, I was granted my friend request. Well, then, it was a while before any further contact.

This stranger is my now girlfriend, Dana. How would we know that a simple mail would lead to where we are now. It’s been a very long road from then to now. But we are not at the end of the road. Far from it.

That’s not to say the road hasn’t been rocky and been a completely smooth ride, but it’s been the most enjoyable ride I have ever been on. I am proud and happy that it’s Dana that I am going for this ride with. I can’t think of any other girl that I would want to take this ride with. She’s the only one. I love her. I know that the road going forward won’t be completely smooth but I am sure we’ll make it as smooth as we can.

The next stop in the road is coming in a few weeks as she leaves the life she knows in south Georgia to move up here to central Gerogia. It’s the end of the “interstate” road and begins the “local” roads and nothing makes me happier. It’s been a long time coming and it’s finally here.

There are more stops on this road and they are ones that we will make each of these stops together. It may take some time to get to each of these stops, but we will get to them. I have no doubts. There is nobody else I want to make these stops with.
