For today, I decided to goto the Union Hill [Alpharetta] trailhead. It is essentially the end of the trail on the Alpharetta side. There are plans to connect the Alpharetta Big Creek Greenway to Forsyth County Big Creek Greenway but as of now, you have to drive a mile or so to the Halcyon trailhead (see Day 2) to see where these two would connect.
From the Union Hill trailhead, I can only go south and south, I did. Today’s walk was 2.7 miles. My watch showed 2.6 but I failed to start my workout until I was partly down the trail. So, I call it 2.7 miles. This goes south under Winward Parkway and winds up on Windward Parkway, which where I stopped to turn around. Here is a gallery of pictures from this journey.
Today’s music choice was Sylosis: A Sign of Things to Come. This was my top/favorite release of 2023. Just a kick-ass album. Anybody who likes heavy music should love this album.
