I believe that this is also available on Windows. Microsoft had streaming first between Xbox One and Windows 10 computers, but not on the Mac as far as I know. So, yeah, this is another win for Sony (for me…)
So, I went to my library and filter out only games and decided to play Valiant Hearts. I haven’t played that game in quite some time and it is fantastic…
Here is the title screen for Valiant Hearts. Both screen shots how my OS X window bar so you know this is on OS X (in this case, my iMac. I could do this on my MacBook Pro as well. Probably would look better on the higher DPI screen, but I remiss).
So, yeah, if you have a PS4 (and you should be my PS4 friend!) and a Mac or Windows machine, download the PS4 Remote app and get playing remotely. I believe it also works over the internet, not just your home network. It will take a hefty connection to get it to work really well (such as an 802.11 ac) home network and you probably need at least a 10MB internet connection if you plan to play away from home… (and I mean both upload and download).
If you have the network and/or internet connection to support it… Go for it!
