This build was in a SFF (Small Form Factor) case and was a challenge in a different way that the big gaming case builds. Trying to get these components in the case and make it look good…
The parts…
- Intel Pentium G4620
- MSi B250M PRO-VD Motherboard
- SPI TX 300 SFF power supply
- PacSun 8GB DDR RAM
- WD 3.5” HDD
- Optical DVD Drive
- Antec SFF Case
What is needed to POST test …
Ready to POST-test… Ugh, the mustard and ketchup cables…
The SFF case. It really looks like a Lenovo case…
PSU and Motherboard installed…
HDD installed and cable managed… It helps that some of the cables are hidden by the drive cages at the front of the case…
This is the completed build….
It’s nothing exciting, but it satisfies what the customer was looking for and that’s all that matters. Getting everything to fit and look good… well, it was a challenge, but I feel like I did a good job. This is so different than the average gaming PC build. Many of those with similar parts and cases became somewhat repetitious but this doesn’t fit that mold.
