I had the most difficult but rewarding rebuild in the past couple of weeks… a first generation Core i7 Alienware Area 51 desktop (the thing weighed a metric ton or at least that’s how it felt when I picked it up). It had so many nuances that made it difficult, frustrating, and yet rewarding. So look for that coming soon.
Update (10/04): Post is still coming, but it will be this weekend instead. It had an ongoing saga that finally concluded yesterday.
