I didn’t take pictures of many of my builds prior to this one. However, this is what I consider build 1 because it is the first one I took pictures. Not a bunch of pictures, but this was the first I took pictures. In my latest builds, I am taking a bunch of pictures.
Looks like we have some parts here:
- Corsair case. It was a demo model, so I don’t know the model number
- Intel Core-i5 7600
- Toshiba SSD
- Patriot Viper 16GB RAM
- Corsair H55 water cooler
- EVGA Nvidia GTX 1060 FTW GPU
- EVGA 750 G2 750 Watt PSU
- Asus Prime Z270-AR Motherboard
Unboxed the motherboard. Good looking board.
Installed the PSU. Again, the first number of builds I did, no POST test.

Here is the CPU and the socket. Looks so small compared the the Threadripper 😉
This is my first water cooler install, though. I had no idea what I was doing…
But I figured it out, anyway.
Installed the RAM
Installed the GPU. I didn’t cable manage the way I would like to have, but I did get better!
Completed build. Time to install Windows 10!
