This was a major rebuild.. only because this is the first one I remember that has a floppy drive connection on the motherboard.<\/p>\n

Look at this hot mess\u2026 we are going to update the components and clean it up.<\/p>\n

FDD!?! First one of these I have seen in this department except some of the units we have in-store.<\/p>\n

Here are the parts we are replacing. PSU, GPU, Motherboard including RAM and CPU, I should have got the part numbers of what I are replacing. I know it is an old AMD part with DDR3.<\/p>\n

Here are the parts were are installing. Lots of bling with the RGB PSU and RAM.<\/p>\n

CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K
\nPSU: Thermatake Smart Pro RGB 750W
\nRAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance RGB
\nMotherboard: MSi MPG Z390 Gaming Plus<\/p>\n

Packed to the brim with MSi goodness!<\/p>\n

Motherboard removed from box.<\/p>\n

CPU installed\u2026<\/p>\n

RAM installed.<\/p>\n

Setup for a POST test. No cooler because it will be liquid cooler.<\/p>\n

POST test successful.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the motherboard is installed. This is one of my best cable management jobs.<\/p>\n

Clean install. Customer will be happy.<\/p>\n

All on and lit up.<\/p>\n
