Really, the cable management was pretty good so I didn\u2019t want to mess with that. So, I did a smaller project.<\/p>\n<p>This is what it looks like a few days ago.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5370-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5370-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\"><br \/>\nIt\u2019s purple but not for long\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5378-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5378-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\"><br \/>\nInside my case. It\u2019s a bit dirty and I want to re-paste the CPU again. I think part of the problem is the mount for the cooler block is slightly damaged so it doesn\u2019t mount as tight as it should.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5382-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5382-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5383-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5383-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\"><br \/>\nMy biggest fans\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5386-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5386-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<p>Dusty\u2026. And I want to redo the cables down here a bit.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5391-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5391-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\"><br \/>\nCleaned off CPU. I probably could have done better, but oh, well\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5395-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5395-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\"><br \/>\nSilly amount of thermal paste\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5397-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5397-2022-10-9-17-18.jpeg\"><br \/>\nWater block reinstalled.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5398-2022-10-9-17-18-rotated.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5398-2022-10-9-17-18-rotated.jpeg\"><br \/>\nUpdated slightly\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5402-2022-10-9-17-18-rotated.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5402-2022-10-9-17-18-rotated.jpeg\"><br \/>\nEverything reinstalled and cleaned up. I see where I missed some spots. I did this in kind of a rush.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5404-2022-10-9-17-18-rotated.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5404-2022-10-9-17-18-rotated.jpeg\"><br \/>\nHere it is now. The web said this was \u201cCrimson\u201d but it just looks like a lighter purple to me. I tried many different combos of RGB and only red was close to Crimson\u2026. But I think I\u2019ll leave like this for now.<\/p>\n<p>I ran some tests and the thermals aren\u2019t that much better but I feel better with the re-paste job I did. I finally cleaned the glass so It definitely looks better. Probably the next time I do this is after getting a new case, perhaps? I am very content with the parts and performance that I am getting. That means it will be some time before I do this again OR I just really want to build a gaming PC and this is the only one I have to build\u2026<\/p>\n<p>So, until the next one\u2026 good-bye.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I actually wanted to fully disassemble and reassemble, but I don\u2019t have any zip ties.
