The thermal paste is kind of a mess because the paste Dell sent was terrible, but it\u2019s what I had. I had to spread it and that didn\u2019t really spread very well. Luckily, these barely go under load to even overheat.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5267-2022-09-29-23-40-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5267-2022-09-29-23-40-scaled.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<p>Here it is fully assembled again. My least favorite part is re-attaching the antenna leads on the wifi card. So tiny.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5268-2022-09-29-23-40-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5268-2022-09-29-23-40-scaled.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<p>The new motherboard doesn\u2019t know the Dell Service Tag, so upon boot, the BIOS asks for the Service Tag.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mmolenda.com\/techparadise\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_5270-2022-09-29-23-40-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"IMG_5270-2022-09-29-23-40-scaled.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<p>Confirm your choices and watch it boot into Windows. Done.<\/p>\n<p>Not like taking a tower PC apart especially gamer systems with many more parts to remove. I can do this type of work in my sleep.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m glad I could share this with you.
