I really like this version of DT’s Surrounded. I am lucky to have had seen them do this twice on their tours in 07 and in 08… Amazing. Anyway, i wanted to share…

How appropriate that it was on a Saturday? This is another stop in the long road that Dana and I are on. We had our first Valentine’s together (and the first Valentine’s that I actually had somebody to share it with…). She came into town that morning after working the previous night and she was tired, as I thought she would be, but when she came into the house… this is what she found:

So after the initial “wow” she opened her gift which included earrings and a movie by her favorite author, Nicolas Sparks, called Nights in Roadathe…. She gave me my gifts which included a ‘romance’ game, lots of candy, some Peanuts boxer shorts (that’s HOT as Paris Hilton might say), and a coupon book…
Well, she need to rest up for our big date that night at Stoney River in Roswell… and here we after getting back…

Well, we had a fabulous time and it was everything I could have hoped for and more. There is nobody I know that would have wanted to be on that Valentine’s date than Dana… this might have been our first Valentine’s Day, but it is just one of so many more that we will share together…
If Dad hadn’t left this earth in 2000… he would be 61 today. I just want to say I love him and I miss him dearly. Much more than it might appear…
