The Meeting:
I met her online and after several months of exchanging emails and phone calls, I decided to go down to Savannah area and meet her in person.  I stayed in Metter and she lived in Hinesville (not too far from Metter).  We arranged to meet at my hotel and goto Savannah for a day of tourism.  We hit it off pretty well even though I wasn’t going there intending to meet a girlfriend, particularly another long-distance girlfriend... but that’s what ended up happening (later on...).  We had a really fun time in Savannah on May 2, 2008.... Except for the garlic wings I ordered for lunch and the non-chivalrous actions by me.  Somehow, she still liked me and we arranged for her to come up to Alpharetta over Memorial Day weekend.  We went a Braves game and the Georgia Aquarium.  By the end of the weekend, we were officially a couple...

Engagement:
We got engaged on our trip to Mentone, AL over Memorial Day Weekend 2009 at DeSoto Falls.  We have set a wedding date of May 29, 2010.  The first year we were together was the best year of my life, but I know that each year will get better and better...

The Wedding:
We got married on May 29, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Alpharetta, GA where we still attend.  It was the most beautiful ceremony.  Then, the party started at our reception at The Marlow House in Marietta, GA.

The Honeymoon:
We went on a cruise to the Western Caribbean with stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico.  That was a blast.  Was fun to get out of the country for a while and enjoy ourselves.

Traveling:

We love to travel.  We love to go to historically significant cities.  And of course, just plain fun places.  We have been to Chattanooga, St. Augustine, Savannah, Charleston, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and many others.  We have seen forts and jails and have gone on several ghost tours.
