We adopted a cat in September 2008.  I had wanted a cat for a while (I like that cats take care of themselves, for the most part).  So we went to a Pet Smart on a sunny Sunday afternoon and when we got there, we both locked eyes on this beautiful grey tabby cat (that’s what I wanted).  We immediately fell in love with this cat, Bella.  She clung to me and it was so cute.  We just knew that we wanted to adopt her and we did. 

We adopted her from Cats in the Cradle cat rescue.

She was basically my constant companion.  Then, we decided to adopt her a “friend.”  A new cat that could give her some company when we are gone away from home.  In comes Bama (adopted name was Sushi, eww.) in January of 2009.  She is a very different personality cat from Bella.  We are so blessed to have such great cats.

In May of 2011, we got Maddux, a pure bred Pug puppy.  I had always wanted a Pug but never got one.  Dogs are what I had always wanted, but with traveling, it didn’t seem like an ideal match.  Well, in comes Maddux.  He is a very energetic and fun loving puppy.  We could not love a dog more than we love Maddux.  We have many years ahead with all of our pets.

He was adopted from Luvurpug Kennels in Decatur, AL.
