Our House

Well...where do I start?

I grew up an Army brat, but I’ve lived the majority of my life in south Georgia and south Alabama. I graduated high school in Mobile, Alabama, and attended the University of South Alabama for a few years. In February, 2009, I moved to Alpharetta, Georgia (an Atlanta suburb).

I have had many jobs, some not so special, but others that were wonderful learning experiences that have led me to where I am today. My chosen career is in Public Safety, however I currently work for a private EMS company.

In January 2009, I went back to school. I am attending Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, Alabama), and I em taking online courses majoring in Emergency Management with a minor in Public Safety Telecommunications. I am very excited about this venture, and I am especially happy that Mike is so supportive of this life-changing decision.

I recently completed (May 2012) the RCIA program at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.  I was confirmed as a Catholic and received my first communion as a Catholic at the Easter Vigil mass in April 2012.  This was a big commitment and am happy that Mike was supportive of me.

I am proud of the person I’ve become, and the person I want to be. I’m proud to be married to Mike, and I’m proud of our relationship and lifetime commitment to each other.
